A: Well, what we’re talking about here is cheating. While it may have gotten you into a good college when you were 18, it will not get you into your ‘skinny jeans’ now. So, buck up, it’s only a few days. |
A: Absolutely! The levels may be used in many different ways for different reasons. Levels are divided by intensity so that everyone can participate. For example, if you start out on level one Renovation, there’s room to grow and increase the intensity of your cleansing regime at your own pace based on your own progress.
Other ways the three levels may be used is “backwards.” We had a more “advanced” cleanser start at the third level, Excavation (the most intense), and instead of going straight back on solid food, he transitioned to level two, followed by level one and from there gradually reincorporated solid foods again. He used the levels decreasing intensity to gradually transition back to his normal diet. |

A: Yes! Pair any level with the 21-day Hard Habit to Break. Any Blueprint cleanse for this length of time will help resolve all kinds of habits: smoking, alcohol, even nail biting. (by the way, these are usually symptoms of a pH imbalance, or rather, being too acidic). Recent findings by the American Academy of Family Physicians reports that it takes 21 days to break a habit. |
A: The third and highest level, EXCAVATION. This cleanse is for the “cleaner” person to experience. It is extremely low in sugar, fat, and calories. However, if you are not that “clean,” beware, you may awaken the “detox beast,” and that beast wears all sorts of cloths: skin eruptions, headaches, bad breath, etc….
It’s important to be honest with yourself while choosing the profile that corresponds with your cleanse. For example, if I were to practice the easiest level, Renovation, I will not lose any weight, and would potentially gain weight, whereas my 400 lb uncle would probably drop 25 lbs in two weeks! This is because I have been eating raw foods for eight years, don’t have weight to lose, and am used to much lighter fare, more similar to the Excavation menu. The wonderful aspect of BPC is that it’s all relevant; this is not a one-size-fits-all program! We’re going to celebrate those differences and make them work for you! |

A: Like yourself, your body needs a rest. Digestion requires a lot of energy, so even during a one-day cleanse, that energy immediately becomes available for other uses, such as: the body will begin to scour for dead cells, damaged tissues, fatty deposits, tumors, abscesses, etc, which are all then burned for fuel. |
A: How would you react if you never had a day off? The benefits of a one-day cleanse, once a week are astronomical! This cleanse method has been an Eastern practice for centuries, used as a quick strategy to strengthen the immune system, sharpen mental clarity, and allow the body to "catch up." If you make Wednesday your cleanse day, you will have cleansed 52 days this year, which is probably more than you can say about going to the gym. And did you know that after only one day of stopping solid food intake, enzymes stop visiting your stomach and instead travel into the bloodstream and intestines, where they get busy attacking all sorts of old waste matter, damaged cells, and pollutants. |
A: We recommend doing a Cleanse once a month for at least three days. This allows your body the proper rest and recovery time it needs to maintain optimum health. Make it a healthy habit - the immune system loves a consistent schedule. |
A: If you're looking to steer away from sugar, your best Blueprint Level is Excavation, as it has the lowest sugar content of all the Cleanses. The only fruit juice used in Excavaion-Level 3 is apple juice and it is always combined with green juice. |
A: Actually, the Blueprint philosophy is quite opposite. Macrobiotic food preparation includes cooking EVERYTHING within an inch of its life - to the point of killing all of the vital enzymes, vitamins, and minerals. Blueprint Cleanse is rooted in the nutritional science of organic raw and living foods. Simply: natural, unadulterated, unpasteurized food is identified by the body and used as energy as opposed to being stored as fat. Food subject to high levels of heat has been altered chemically and is therefore confusing to the body. |
A: There are MANY sources of protein other than that which comes from animals. With Blueprint, you'll receive protein from our green as well as our delicious Cashew Nut Milk. While the cashew milk is a more obvious source of protein, don't discount the protein punch that comes from living plant foods. For example, a question for you - Where does the non-meat-eating, strongest animal in the world, the Silverback Gorilla, get his protein? |
